About
I’m Sam Petrenko, a founder and CTO who likes the hard middle of a business: the place where code, customers, teams, and revenue all start pulling on each other.
I started by building Webinse, an eCommerce engineering company focused on Magento, WordPress, support, and international client delivery. That work taught me how to hire, manage delivery, design operations, and keep clients happy when the work is complex.
Then came Fruitfulcode, where we turned engineering capacity into products: WordPress themes, plugins, demos, documentation, analytics, and purchase funnels. It was a different challenge: not just “can we build it?” but “can people discover it, understand it, use it, and buy it?”
Mates Marketing moved the same operating muscle into growth. We built lead-generation systems for US home-improvement companies: landing pages, paid media, creative testing, compliance, ZIP targeting, API integrations, and client success.
Since February 2026, I’ve been building LeadCognition.io, an AI GTM agent for developer-led sales. It turns public code activity into account signals, buyer context, and sharper outreach. It is the natural next chapter: AI systems, API/SDK thinking, developer data, and revenue operations in one product.
